In line with changing interior design trends, LG Hausys has launched the 2019 new lineup of its Z:IN interior film BENIF, featuring enhanced eco-friendliness and a wider range of colors.
LG Hausys completely upgraded the raw materials and adhesives to components that meet stricter eco-friendly standards, reducing the detected levels of harmful substances such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), formaldehyde, toluene, and heavy metals to below the Eco-Label standards. As a result, it became the first in the industry to obtain Eco-Label certification for each individual product. In addition, the total content of phthalate plasticizers—which may cause endocrine disruption and carry a risk of carcinogenicity—was also verified to be below the standards of the Special Act on the Safety of Children's Products. The products are registered as recommended by the Korea Atopy Association, making them suitable for use in children's activity spaces such as schools and daycare centers.
In 2019, to cater to the increasingly diverse tastes of interior design customers, LG Hausys launched five new products: Classic Wood, Big Wood & Big Marble, Pearlite, Leather, and Woven.
△Classic Wood applies a synchronized embossing technique to render wood grain more realistically, and adds a matte surface effect to express the warm, soft appearance unique to natural wood. △Big Wood & Big Marble enlarges the pattern size by 1.5 times compared to before, allowing for grand and stylish wood and marble pattern interiors. △Pearlite expresses the appearance of a luxurious mineral material; by applying pearl chips 20 times larger than before, its shimmer and three-dimensional depth change with the viewing angle, helping to create a rich, full space. △Leather is a product that lets you feel the texture and cushioning unique to leather. Beyond basic leather colors, it offers a wide range of trendy and vivid colors, further enhancing its versatility. △Woven resolves the inconvenience of installing and maintaining conventional fabric, and applies deep embossing with a warm fabric feel to express a luxurious tactile quality, making it widely applicable to residential art walls and commercial offices.
