LG Hausys has launched 'DIAMANT,' a premium wallpaper with outstanding surface dimensionality and eco-friendliness.
'DIAMANT,' the top-tier line among LG Hausys wallpapers, features embossing on the product surface up to twice as deep as conventional wallpaper, precisely and meticulously expressing the texture of materials such as the weave of fabrics like crochet and the rough surface of stone—making it effective for creating sophisticated spaces. In addition, 'DIAMANT' applies a special formulation technology to achieve deep embossing while reducing weight by approximately 25% compared to existing products, further enhancing installation convenience. This resolves the problem whereby thin wallpaper lacks dimensionality, while thick, heavy wallpaper tends to sag during installation.
Living up to its billing as an LG Hausys premium wallpaper, another distinguishing feature is the use of safe materials certified by leading domestic institutions. By applying corn-derived ingredients to the surface layer that comes into contact with the skin, the product earned the top grade (Grade 1) of the OEKO-TEX (European textile product quality certification) and the domestic Environmental Label certification, gaining recognition for its eco-friendliness. The European textile product quality certification evaluates the degree of harmlessness of products that come into contact with the skin, such as clothing, bedding, toys, and interior materials; Grade 1, the highest of the four grades, is a strict standard granted only to products that are safe even when in contact with the skin of infants under three years of age. In terms of design, the focus was on naturally expressing the texture of materials. Representative examples include plaster wall, vermiculite, and modern stone, which realistically render the rough texture of stone or concrete, as well as Crochet, which lets you feel the weave of hand-knitted lace just as it is, and Natural Linen and Natural Fabric, which offer the tactile experience of fabric.
