LG Electronics is launching the new ‘LG CordZero A9S,’ the first LG UP appliance in the CordZero A9S line. Equipped with a range of features—including steam mop cleaning that removes even stubborn grime from floors—the new product is expected to set a new standard for next-generation cordless vacuum cleaners.
According to LG Electronics, the new ‘LG CordZero A9S’ delivers a differentiated customer experience with its ‘Safe Steam Mop Nozzle,’ which enables both dust suction and steam mop cleaning. In testing by Intertek, a global testing and certification body, cleaning hardened chocolate and hardened meat grease off floors with a mop heated by Safe Steam removed the soiling more easily than in regular mop mode.
The new product was designed with safety as the top priority. A dual overheating-prevention sensor is applied so that the steam generator does not rise above the temperature required. If the nozzle is lifted off the floor or tilted, steam supply is automatically stopped, allowing customers to use it with greater peace of mind. In addition, if there is no nozzle movement for more than 10 seconds, steam supply is stopped, and if there is no movement for about 1 minute, the mop rotation also stops.
Furthermore, the new ‘LG CordZero A9S’ inherits the strengths of the existing CordZero A9S, such as an automatic water supply system that keeps the mop moist so it does not dry out during cleaning, and the convenience of performing both dust suction and mop cleaning with a single vacuum cleaner.
In addition, the stand has been upgraded to the All-in-One Tower 2.0 to support charging, accessory storage, and dust-bin emptying, and the operating time of the dust-emptying function has been shortened compared to before. The new product is priced at 1.59 million won (based on shipping price).
