LG Electronics has launched the ‘LG Whisen View Air Conditioner,’ which uses differentiated artificial intelligence (AI) technology to adjust the direction and strength of airflow as well as the temperature.

LG Electronics has applied AI Smart Care functionality to this product. Even without the user adjusting the airflow strength or direction, the AI analyzes the space based on the layout configured in the LG ThinQ app and delivers the air conditioner's airflow at the optimal settings. It rapidly cools the indoor space to the desired temperature with quick airflow, then maintains the temperature with air that does not blow directly onto the user. In addition, the new ‘LG Whisen View Air Conditioner’ features a Clean View structure that allows users to open the top of the product and clean directly inside the air conditioner. While conventional air conditioners required disassembling around twenty screws to open the panel, the new product has been simplified so that the unit opens by loosening just one screw and pressing a button. This reflects the needs of users who want to manage the interior hygiene of their air conditioner themselves.

Furthermore, it consolidates the clean management functions of Whisen air conditioners that maintain the hygiene of the path the air travels through. The ‘Whisen View’ is equipped with features including ▲a micro filter that suppresses bacteria that can grow on the filter, ▲an Allergy Care air purification filter certified by the British Allergy Foundation (BAF), ▲heat exchanger cleaning, ▲AI drying, and ▲UV LED fan sterilization. In addition, LG Electronics has applied a slim, minimalist design to the new product, and users can also customize it to suit their tastes or lifestyles. By replacing the lower part of the product with a ‘View Case,’ users can display figures, books, picture frames, and more.

The new ‘LG Whisen View’ has been released in 18-pyeong and 22-pyeong models, priced from 3.20 million to 3.95 million won based on the shipping price for the 2-in-1 configuration comprising a standing and a wall-mounted air conditioner. For the standing single unit, it ranges from 2.78 million to 3.53 million won. It is also available via subscription, which provides continuous product management. Lee Jae-sung, Vice President and Head of the Air Solution Business Division at LG Electronics' H&A Company, explained, “The new product is an air conditioner that provides customers with a differentiated experience through its maintenance-optimized panel-opening method and the View Case that can be decorated according to personal taste.”

Meanwhile, to celebrate the launch of the new product, LG Electronics is running a promotion in which the View Case can be added for 100,000 won—half its original price—and is also offering a variety of benefits including cash back of up to 100,000 won and a photo review event. 1544-7777
