LG Electronics has launched the 'Whisen Objet Collection Edge,' a window-type air conditioner.
The newly released 'LG Whisen Objet Collection Edge' uses AI to analyze the customer's temperature-setting patterns and automatically set the preferred temperature. It rapidly lowers the temperature and then adjusts the airflow to a gentle level to maintain comfort. In addition, the AI Dry function helps remove internal moisture that may remain after use. It also features a powerful 34L dehumidification function, a Clean Basket that suppresses bacterial growth, and the Objet Collection colors and design that blend naturally with any interior.
LG Electronics plans to prepare for the summer heat and lead the era of AI air conditioners with its full lineup of 2024 Whisen Affectionate Intelligence (AI) air conditioners, which customers can choose to suit their lifestyles. Earlier this year, LG Electronics had sequentially unveiled new stand-type air conditioners, including the 'Whisen Tower I,' 'Tower II,' and 'Whisen View,' equipped with the AI Smart Care function. AI Smart Care analyzes the space and delivers optimal comfort without the customer having to separately adjust the strength or direction of the airflow.
From January to May this year, sales of LG Electronics' stand-type AI air conditioners increased more than 30% compared to the same period last year. The 'LG Whisen Dual Cool,' newly introduced this year, uses AI to identify the user's location in real time and operates the two air outlets located at the front and bottom of the product according to the situation to provide optimal cooling. The 'Whisen Portable Air Conditioner,' which can be installed even in small windows, features a dual hose that separates exhaust and intake using two hoses, cooling the indoor temperature 35% faster than conventional single-hose models.
