LG Electronics announced the launch of the ‘LG Whisen Tower II,’ which features a simple design and a reasonable price.
The ‘LG Whisen Tower II’ is characterized by a minimalist design that removes the circular air outlet from the front of the existing ‘Whisen Tower’ air conditioner. This reflects customer feedback expressing a desire for a cleaner front so the air conditioner blends in with the living room interior when not in use. To achieve this, the mood lighting during operation and the circle lighting that displays various information are implemented digitally. Customers can choose between the existing ‘Whisen Tower I’ and the new ‘Whisen Tower II’ design according to their preference. In addition, for the sake of environmental protection, all 2023 Whisen stand air conditioners use R32 refrigerant, whose global warming potential (GWP) is up to one-third that of the existing R410A—another advantage.
Furthermore, the new ‘LG Whisen Tower II’ retains its existing functions as they are, including ▲automatic clean care ▲self clean care ▲a Pet Care mode for companion animals ▲and Smart Care, which operates automatically according to the indoor environment.
LG Electronics is launching the ‘Whisen Tower II’ air conditioner in three models: ▲Deluxe ▲Special ▲and Heat. Based on the two-in-one model featuring the Whisen Tower premium design, the shipping price of the Whisen Tower II Deluxe is 3.15–3.6 million won, and the shipping price of the Special is 3.6–4.05 million won. The Whisen Tower II Heat, which reduces the price burden, is scheduled to launch within the first half of the year.
Lee Jae-sung, Vice President and Head of the Air Solution Business Division at LG Electronics’ H&A Company, said, “Ahead of the full-fledged summer peak season, we have added to our air conditioner lineup to broaden customers’ choices and reduce the price burden,” adding, “The new product uses an eco-friendly refrigerant and will deliver a differentiated customer experience.” 1544-7777
