LX Hausys has introduced 'LX Z:IN Editone Wall,' a wall cladding that recreates the look of marble, and it is receiving a favorable response.
'Editone Wall' is a product aimed at consumers who, in pursuit of a premium interior, are looking for wall cladding alternatives to wallpaper. Priced at about half the cost of porcelain tile while precisely reproducing a surface texture and design similar to natural marble, it offers excellent value for money. In particular, to capture the feel of natural marble, 'Editone Wall' is offered in the same large-format sizes as stone-based wall cladding, and by using digital printing to minimize the repetition of design patterns, it expresses a more natural marble grain.
In addition, the company applied 'New Stone Core,' a new material it developed in-house, to achieve greater durability than conventional stone and wood-based wall cladding. New Stone Core is a material made by high-pressure compression of stone and polyvinyl chloride (PVC), improving on the weaknesses of stone and flooring such as cracking, denting, and vulnerability to moisture. On top of this, it weighs only about one-third as much as the clay tiles commonly used for wall cladding, making installation far more convenient while significantly reducing lifting and detachment, thereby enabling a safer space.
LX Hausys 'Editone Wall' is available in a total of 10 colors, including Velvet Quartz and French Stone, which fully capture the feel of natural marble. When applied together with the 'Editone Floor' flooring, it can be installed as an integrated marble look that seamlessly connects the walls and floor.
An LX Hausys official said, "As the number of cases in which entire spaces are decorated with marble has recently increased, 'Editone Wall' and 'Editone Floor,' which allow a marble look to be created at a relatively low price, are drawing great interest," adding, "We plan to continue introducing the Editone series featuring our in-house-developed new materials going forward." 080-005-4000
