LX Hausys has unveiled a new product, 'LX Z:IN Windows Eurosystem 9 (E9-PLS200),' from its premium system window brand 'Eurosystem 9.'
'Eurosystem 9 (E9-PLS200)' is a PVC system window product featuring excellent thermal insulation, sophisticated design, and a lift-sliding opening mechanism. First, 'Eurosystem 9 (E9-PLS200)' meets the highest-grade specifications across all of the basic performance metrics for windows, including Grade 1 energy consumption efficiency for thermal insulation performance, Grade 1 airtightness, and Grade 50 watertightness.
In addition, 'Eurosystem 9 (E9-PLS200)' incorporates LX Hausys's proprietary 'Thermal Insulation Window System_Multi-Chamber Structure' design technology to further reduce heat loss, achieving top-level thermal insulation performance while simultaneously reducing the window frame thickness to secure a slim design. In fact, the window frame of 'Eurosystem 9 (E9-PLS200)' is 200 mm thick—5% thinner than existing PVC system windows—providing a more comfortable field of view, and its thermal insulation performance meets the reinforced Grade 1 energy consumption efficiency specification (thermal transmittance of 0.861 W/㎡k) that takes effect this October.
Furthermore, 'LX Z:IN Eurosystem 9 (E9-PLS200)' is distinguished by its application of high-functionality components—such as antibacterial handles effective at preventing bacterial growth, a concealed locking device, and a metallic finish—to realize a more refined system window design.
Kim Jin-ha, Executive Vice President and Head of LX Hausys's Windows Business Division, stated, "We will expand the supply of Eurosystem 9 (E9-PLS200)—which we have launched with enhanced completeness in both function and design compared to existing system windows—to premium homes, apartments, and townhouses, thereby increasing our market share in the domestic system window market."
Meanwhile, LX Hausys filed a patent application with the Korean Intellectual Property Office this past March (application number: 10-2021-0033606) for its 'Thermal Insulation Window System_Multi-Chamber Structure' technology, an optimal design of the internal window frame structure that blocks outside cold air to further reduce heat loss. 080-005-4000
