Big-size designs and synchronized-embossing technology deliver even more natural textures

LX Hausys has relaunched 'Z:IN Sorijam,' a premium sheet flooring product in its LX Z:IN lineup.

'Z:IN Sorijam' is a functional flooring product designed to reduce real-life noise, first introduced in Korea in 2013. Since its launch it has been a popular product, consistently holding the No. 1 sales position in Korea's sheet flooring market. Now renewed after four years, 'Z:IN Sorijam' stands out for adding a new antibacterial function and rich, deep designs based on natural materials such as wood and stone to its existing eco-friendliness and real-life noise reduction functions.

First, 'Z:IN Sorijam' has significantly enhanced hygiene through antibacterial treatment. In actual testing by the FITI Testing & Research Institute, the product secured an antibacterial performance test report showing that, compared to a non-antibacterial-treated product, it reduces both Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli—which can cause digestive-system diseases—by approximately 99%. By applying plant-derived components to the surface coating layer, the product achieved the Ministry of Environment's 'Environmental Product Declaration,' 'Low Carbon Product Certification,' and 'Eco-Label Certification.' Adding a new antibacterial function to this outstanding eco-friendliness has produced a flooring product that customers can use with greater peace of mind.

In addition, 'Z:IN Sorijam' applies a highly elastic cushion layer to the underside of the product, delivering excellent effects in absorbing impact and reducing real-life noise (light-weight floor impact sound) such as vacuum cleaner noise and the sound of chairs being dragged. In actual testing by the Korea Conformity Laboratories, it was shown to reduce light-weight floor impact sound by 19 dB compared to a bare slab floor (210 mm-thick concrete).

Along with this, the renewed 'Z:IN Sorijam' has been launched in a total of 10 patterns and 13 colors reflecting the latest interior trends. In particular, big-size designs—with pattern sizes widened by nearly 1.5 times compared to the previous product—and synchronized-embossing technology, which aligns the design pattern with the surface embossing, more naturally reproduce the texture of natural materials such as wood and stone. With new colors such as 'Natural Oak,' which brings out the intrinsic feel of wood, and 'Soft Porcelain,' with its trendy stone pattern, the new product can create even more stylish spaces, and installations mixing and matching two or more colors or patterns are also possible.
