SK Magic has launched its ‘Ultra-Compact Direct-Flow Water Purifier,’ which dramatically reduces the size of the unit.

The ‘Ultra-Compact Direct-Flow Water Purifier’ is a product that, along with the One Cok Ice Water Purifier, won an Innovation Award at ‘CES 2024,’ the world’s largest home appliance exhibition—the only domestic water purifier brand to do so. Measuring 164㎜ wide, 370㎜ deep, and 345㎜ high, it is about 40% smaller than the company’s existing direct-flow water purifiers. The new product also upgrades performance, hygiene, and various convenience features. All water flow paths are made not of plastic but of all-stainless steel, which is highly resistant to contamination, corrosion, and bacteria, allowing worry-free use with no concern about harmful substances.

In addition, Korea’s first stainless steel vacuum system has been applied to enhance hygiene, while plastic usage has been reduced by 25% and EPS (styrofoam) usage cut by up to 96% compared with existing direct-flow water purifiers.

It also features a Self Triple Care system that allows the purifier to manage its own hygiene. Dispensing capacity is available in four levels, from 120㎖ up to continuous dispensing of 1,000㎖, with volume adjustable in increments of 10 to 50㎖. Furthermore, the new product supports IoT functions that let users check the product’s status, electricity consumption, and water intake via a smart app, as well as an LCD display and touch buttons, an easy-to-replace front filter, and a detachable drip tray. It is equipped with two types of filters: a pre-block carbon filter and a composite nano PAC filter.

The new ‘Ultra-Compact Direct-Flow Water Purifier’ is available in four colors—Natural White, Pastel Pink, Pastel Blue, and Metallic Gray—with a monthly rental fee, based on a mandatory five-year usage period, of 43,900 won for the visited-service type and 39,900 won for the self-service type. 1600-1661
