Deojon Maru (instagram.com/deojon_flooring_official), a specialist supplier of solid wood flooring, has unveiled three new 'Forrebaum' products to mark the new year of 2020.
'Forrebaum' is Deojon Maru's own in-house production brand, comprising solid wood flooring in a wide variety of some 30 colors. 'Forrebaum' features wide plank widths and naturally preserved knots, while its signature brushing treatment and hand-scratch finish make it possible to create a sophisticated space.
Noting the growing consumer demand for a variety of colored flooring in the recent solid wood flooring market, Deojon Maru has introduced three new colors of solid wood flooring: 'Forrebaum Bergen Oak,' 'Stone Grey Wash,' and 'Oslo Vintage.'
△Bergen Oak is an upgraded version of the European Oak that Forrebaum previously supplied. By softening the yellow tone while preserving the oak grain pattern and brightening the color, it makes a space look refreshing and bright. As its name suggests, Bergen Oak is characterized by a sophisticated yet bright, natural oak color and grain pattern. △Stone Grey Wash is an upgraded version of the Grey Wash previously offered by Forrebaum. This new grey color shifts in tone depending on the viewing angle, and the addition of a brushed finish and medium-sized knots gives it an even chicer, more attractive medium grey. △Oslo Vintage is a new product that captures the calm and relaxed lifestyle of Northern Europe. Its simple, fresh coral brown color blends naturally into any space, enabling a warm interior. The name Oslo Vintage was inspired by a bright and radiant sensibility, faithfully capturing the simple, modern Northern European solid wood flooring trend. All new products measure 14(3)×190×1900 mm.

Alongside this, 'Bassano Parquet,' the Italian solid wood flooring exclusively supplied by Deojon Maru, is also drawing strong consumer interest. The two Bassano Parquet products presented by Deojon Maru are 'American Walnut' and 'Arenisca.' Bassano Parquet is a long-established Italian solid wood flooring company that has earned its reputation by presenting original and highly refined products through its distinctive craftsmanship and flexible production at the timber processing and finishing stages. Across as many as 16 different wood species, its unique surface-treatment techniques—including coating, oil treatment, brushing, hand-scratching, and heat treatment of solid wood flooring—make its products highly durable and soft to the touch. Among these, △American Walnut in particular recently drew attention when it was installed at Smashing Ball, the largest premium bowling alley in Korea, located in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul. American Walnut was installed on the interior approach, over the bowling lanes, and in the lobby, maximizing a luxurious and refined feel, and its attractive deep brown color makes it a favorite among young designers. △Arenisca makes a striking impression with its near-black deep brown color, achieved by adding a wenge stain coating finish to the natural grain pattern of oak. Arenisca is characterized by a calm and settled feel created through its oak grain, brushing treatment, and natural varnish finish. Despite its high price point, Arenisca is currently being installed nationwide, having spread by word of mouth among designers and general consumers alike thanks to its high product quality and excellent color tone. It recently received acclaim after being installed throughout an entire home at Gwanggyo Jungheung S-Class.
