Carefully selected wood patterns that render a natural surface texture
Dongwha Enterprise (CEO Chae Kwang-byung) has launched two new large-format engineered flooring products. The new products introduced this time—▲Jin Terra Max and ▲Duo Texture Max—are characterized by a width and length more than double those of conventional engineered flooring.
In particular, 'Duo Texture Max' is the longest engineered flooring product on the domestic market, and its overwhelming dimensions make a space appear more spacious while creating a refined atmosphere. The new 'Jin Terra Max' measures 195 mm wide × 2,040 mm long × 7.5 mm thick and comes in six patterns, while 'Duo Texture Max' is offered in four patterns measuring 232 mm wide × 2,400 mm long × 10.5 mm thick.
Both products were released with sophisticated wood patterns that naturally render the texture of wood on the flooring surface. In particular, 'Jin Terra Max' applies a dual glossy effect to its surface to express the delicate, realistic texture unique to wood. In addition, both 'Jin Terra Max' and 'Duo Texture Max' are resistant to denting and scratching and undergo little deformation from moisture, making them easy to maintain. Furthermore, they use SE0-grade materials, combining eco-friendliness as well. The difference between the two products lies in their material. 'Jin Terra Max' features an eco-friendly NAF (Non-Added Formaldehyde) board developed in-house by Dongwha Enterprise, made entirely from domestic pine, while 'Duo Texture Max' is manufactured with a dual core that combines the NAF board with water-resistant plywood.
Lee Gil-yong, head of Dongwha Enterprise's Building Materials Division, said, "We introduced flooring in wide and long-format dimensions to meet the increasingly diverse demands of consumers," adding, "As consumers' interest in and discernment for interior design have grown, we will continue our product research to meet these expectations."
