Festool Korea announced that it will officially launch its new air purifier model 'SYS-AIR M', which improves job-site air quality by capturing even the 10% of residual work dust, in Korea this coming June. Despite its compact size, the product delivers M-class dust removal performance along with powerful air purification and circulation capabilities, providing a solution optimized for indoor work sites. Based on an air circulation rate of up to 680 ㎥/h, 'SYS-AIR M' reliably removes fine work dust, harmful particles, and more through an M-class (filtering >99.9% of dust at 0.1 ㎎/m³>) filter system, effectively protecting the user's respiratory health. With the performance to purify and circulate the air of a space of about 57 m² (based on a 2.5 m height, approx. 17 pyeong) three or more times per hour, it is a solution that lets professionals working in enclosed indoor environments—such as woodworking, wall finishing, and painting—keep the on-site air optimally clean. It can also be used in an expanded configuration, connecting up to six units for effective use even in large spaces.
Dust and airborne particles generated at the work site are directly linked to work efficiency and finishing quality. By minimizing such airborne dust, the 'SYS AIR M' air purifier effectively lowers the incidence of equipment malfunction and finished-surface contamination caused by dust, and by keeping the site clean it significantly reduces the effort spent on construction protection and cleanup, thereby boosting productivity. In addition, the new product is built on Festool's signature modular storage system, Systainer³, so it can be easily moved, stacked, and put to use. With a lightweight design of about 9.8 ㎏, it also offers outstanding portability.
Operation is also very simple. Airflow can be adjusted with a switch across two levels (Eco/Power) to suit the work environment, and the filter replacement timing can be checked intuitively through the color of the front LED light. The pre-filter and main filter can be easily replaced without the use of any separate tools, and with the accompanying accessory 'Ceiling Bracket DH-SYS-AIR', the unit can also be mounted for use in small workshops.
