BROWNSTONE Co., Ltd. (CEO Hwang Seon-kyu), a domestic distributor of engineered marble, has launched the Italian ceramic specialist brand 'NUOVO' in the Korean market for the first time.
BROWNSTONE is a leading distributor in the engineered marble field, holding the largest inventory in the country. It specializes in distributing engineered marble, engineered stone, and ceramics used as finishing materials for kitchen sinks, countertops for washbasins, vanity tables, interior walls, and more in both residential and commercial spaces.
The newly launched brand is the big-slab ceramic of 'NUOVO CORSO,' one of Italy's three leading brands. Ceramic is a porcelain-type panel made from natural raw materials fired at high temperatures and compressed multiple times. With natural patterns resembling natural stone, it offers excellent design elements, and although thin, it boasts strong and durable performance. In addition, it withstands high temperatures well and is heat-resistant, while its low moisture absorption rate makes it hygienic.
BROWNSTONE Vice President Kim Kyung-rim said, "As demand for interior design has surged amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, the trend in engineered marble, which is mainly used in kitchen interiors, is also changing," adding, "In fact, more than 80% of interiors in newly occupied apartments in Korea are shifting to engineered stone, a premium engineered marble, and premium ceramic kitchens are also an item drawing attention lately." Vice President Kim added, "Following its exclusive contract for the Italian ceramic brand NUOVO, BROWNSTONE has also signed an exclusive contract for Italy's Baraldi induction, achieving remarkable growth in step with the overall interior market."
Meanwhile, BROWNSTONE has currently achieved approximately a 90% share of the domestic UPE engineered marble market, and through a general distribution agreement with Lion Chemtech, it markets and sells Lion Chemtech's Tristone nationwide. Since then, it has secured dealerships from major domestic corporations such as Lotte Chemical (formerly Samsung) Staron, Radianz, Hyundai L&C Hanex, and Khanstone, selling engineered marble of all brands in Korea. 070-4652-3788
