Chamgil has developed the brush-on liquid activated charcoal paint 'Activa707' and the high-insulation paint 'Ecocella,' drawing attention from the industry.

First, 'Activa707' is a premium functional paint made primarily from 100% oak charcoal and bamboo activated charcoal sourced from Damyang in South Jeolla Province, Gangwon Province, and elsewhere. Unlike temporary or one-time spray-on photocatalyst products, it is characterized by a semi-permanent effect that lasts through a single application for the entire lifespan of the building. In particular, 'Activa707' not only blocks sick-house syndrome but also excels at charcoal's inherent functions of blocking various harmful substances and radon and purifying the air. In addition, according to Chamgil, it contains more than 20 substances that aid the body's metabolism—such as germanium, calcium, anion stone, magnesium, and zinc—along with a plant-based adhesive, making it safe enough for the human body to be approved as a food additive. 'Activa707' also contains a mosquito-repellent substance that inhibits mosquito habitation, and it has a strong effect in blocking everyday radiation. Having received certification from the Korea Atopy Association, it can be used with peace of mind even in homes with children.

In addition, the functional insulation paint 'Ecocella' offers not only insulation but also heat-shielding, non-combustibility, waterproofing, anions, far-infrared rays, reduction of sick-house syndrome, and even a function that changes color according to indoor temperature. As a natural insulation coating material, 'Ecocella' can save 30–70% more energy than conventional paints, and it also prevents fires from spreading widely and reduces toxic gases, thereby helping to prevent loss of life in fires. Meanwhile, Chamgil is a small and medium-sized enterprise that developed sick-house syndrome-prevention paint using natural charcoal, and Research Director Park Sul-mok received the Republic of Korea SME Engineer Award, presented by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Industrial Technology Association, in March last year.
