Collaboration between broadcaster Roh Hong-chul and
Spanish artist Okuda San Miguel

Noroo Group announced that it successfully staged its space art exhibition, Hongchul Wonderland, at the ‘2024 Milan Design Week’ held in Milan, Italy.
Held in the Tortona district, the exhibition was designed to offer a point of healing to anxious modern audiences through works created by broadcaster Roh Hong-chul—an icon of positivity—and Spanish artist Okuda San Miguel, based on Noroo’s diverse range of colors.
Through Okuda San Miguel’s signature bold hues, geometric patterns, sculptures made using balloons, and hologram media, visitors took photos and enjoyed a moment of everyday leisure in a three-dimensional space so immersive it felt like being at an amusement park.
The local response was so enthusiastic it could be called ‘the best ever.’ Crowds flocked to the exhibition, with average waiting times reaching two hours, and a total of 20,000 visitors attended. In addition, during the event, Roh Hong-chul personally introduced the works through an Instagram live broadcast, engaging with fans and generating considerable buzz. The exhibition was featured in leading architecture and interior design magazines and was selected by major local media as the ‘most worthwhile exhibition in the Tortona district at the 2024 MDW.’ The event was jointly produced by Noroo Milano Design Studio, Noroo Paint’s local Italian affiliate, and its color research institute, NSDS, with NSDS set to absorb and integrate NMDS going forward.
An official from Noroo Group said, “We are honored to present a collaborative work together with broadcaster Roh Hong-chul and world-renowned artist Okuda San Miguel,” adding, “Going forward, we will continue to showcase Noroo’s space-planning prowess and design solution capabilities in the global market, striving to be a company that provides artistic inspiration.”
