Redefining Custom Craftsmanship
One-of-a-Kind Products

Bang & Olufsen, the world-renowned home entertainment brand, is launching ‘Atelier,’ a service that lets customers create tailor-made products in collaboration with the master craftspeople based in Struer, Denmark.
This historic milestone underscores the brand’s rich heritage of exceptional sound quality and craftsmanship, offering customers the opportunity to express their personal taste through one-of-a-kind products and a wide range of customization options.
A window into Bang & Olufsen’s dedication to its customers, Atelier represents the ultimate expression of design and craftsmanship, and it was launched in response to a significant increase in customer requests for customization and bespoke projects.
Bang & Olufsen Atelier offers three customization options. The first is ‘Atelier Bespoke,’ in which an Atelier craftsperson works directly with the customer to create a one-of-a-kind, made-to-order product featuring specific materials and colors. The second is ‘Atelier Catalogue,’ which lets customers choose from more than 500,000 combinations of fabric, wood, and aluminum finishes to complete a product that reflects their own style. The last, ‘Atelier Editions,’ is a limited-edition range showcasing the brand’s outstanding craftsmanship, presenting iconic products in special combinations of color and materials.
Explaining the launch of Bang & Olufsen Atelier, CEO Kristian Tear said, “A customer who commissions a customized or bespoke Bang & Olufsen product is not simply looking to build a set of speakers, but to extend their own personality and style. We aim to create experiences and products that resonate with our customers, and to build a lasting relationship between Bang & Olufsen and its customers.”
