KCC Participates as a Partner in the ‘Accidentally Wes Anderson 2’ Exhibition

Sponsors ‘Soopuro’ Water-Based Paint and ‘Mytone Sky’ Ceiling Material

KCC is continuing its cultural marketing efforts by participating as a partner in the exhibition by the global creative community ‘Accidentally Wes Anderson’ (hereinafter AWA).

For this exhibition, ‘Accidentally Wes Anderson 2: The Adventure Continues’—dubbed a ‘color haven’—KCC’s ‘Soopuro’ water-based paint and ‘Mytone Sky’ ceiling material were used to complete an original and vibrant exhibition space.

The exhibition runs through this April at Ground Seesaw Central, located in Jung-gu, Seoul. Placing even greater emphasis on the keyword ‘adventure’ than in Season 1, the exhibition organizer—wanting to shape the space with a rich array of colors—chose KCC’s ‘Soopuro’ for its experience in carrying out various cultural marketing initiatives, its outstanding color rendering that vividly reproduces primary colors, and its excellent applicability that spreads like artist’s paint for ease of work.

‘Soopuro’ was used as the background color throughout all of the exhibition spaces, helping the works convey their messages even more dynamically. It also blends perfectly with installation-art-style exhibits that visitors can experience and take part in directly. In particular, by scanning the QR code placed beside each work, visitors can download for free wallpaper images created in the paint colors used in the exhibition, and they are also provided with color codes that allow them to purchase the same colors at KCC dealerships.

The final space of the exhibition features the phrase ‘The Adventure Continues’ along with participatory content that lets visitors hold onto their memories for a long time. As a place where natural conversation and communication among visitors take place, this space is fitted with KCC’s ‘Mytone Sky’ ceiling material, which absorbs sound reverberation to reduce the discomfort caused by noise. ‘Mytone Sky’ is a product with a premium fibrous texture and excellent sound-absorbing performance, made by attaching glass tissue—applied to high-end ceiling materials—to the surface of a base board whose main raw material is mineral wool. The ‘Mytone Sky Vertical Type’ used in this exhibition is earning praise for adding a sense of depth to the space with its three-dimensional structure and helping heighten visitor immersion.
