Products Worth 50 Million Won

COMMAX, a smart home specialist, announced that it has donated smart digital door locks worth 50 million won to the Korean Red Cross Medical Center. As part of COMMAX's social contribution activities, this donation was carried out to support the Korean Red Cross Medical Center, which works to protect public health, as well as the patients who use its facilities.

COMMAX's smart digital door locks are equipped with powerful security features, including not only cards and passwords but also Smart Bio technology capable of fingerprint and facial recognition, which is expected to greatly enhance safety and security within the hospital. In addition, this is anticipated to ensure convenient living for medical staff and patients while also improving the efficiency of hospital operations.

The donated items will be installed throughout the facilities of hospitals operated by the Korean Red Cross Medical Center (Seoul, Incheon, Sangju, Tongyeong, Geochang and Yeongju Red Cross Hospitals, the Gyeongin Regional Rehabilitation Hospital, and others), including in each treatment room, entrance, pharmaceutical storage, and medical staff dormitories.

Lee Ki-sang, head of COMMAX's Strategic Planning Division, emphasized, "We wanted to offer at least a small word of encouragement to the medical staff who work so hard as well as to the patients and their families who need support," adding, "Through this donation, we hope to build a new relationship and fulfill our responsibility as a socially conscious enterprise through continuous social contribution activities."

Through its steady donations—such as improving the residential environment of Habitat for Humanity Korea and participating in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's public-private partnership program to renovate aging homes—COMMAX has received a commendation from the Chairperson of the Presidential Committee for Balanced Regional Development. The company continues to put warm compassion into practice by collaborating on various sharing initiatives, including participation in volunteer activities by its executives and employees.
