Following Seoul’s Nonhyeon location, expansion continues to the second flagship, Busan Centum

‘Living Oasis’ welcome lounge and gallery- and library-style displays introduced

Hanssem Co., Ltd. has newly renovated and reopened ‘Hanssem Flagship Busan Centum’ in Centum City, Haeundae-gu, Busan. Originally opened in 2011 as Hanssem’s fifth directly operated store, Busan Centum has been reborn—after a comprehensive interior and exterior renovation carried out roughly 14 years later—as a hub of premium residential culture that brings together Hanssem’s latest design, technology, and refined service.

Spanning a total of 3,322.3㎡ (1,005 pyeong) from the first basement level to the second floor, Hanssem Flagship Busan Centum offers a one-stop home interior service where customers can view a wide range of products spanning every area of the home—furniture, interiors, fabrics, and more—all in a single space. The building’s exterior features large-scale façade signage reflecting the identity of Hanssem’s flagship stores, designed so that Hanssem’s brand message is conveyed intuitively—like a giant canvas—even amid the bustle of the city. The store’s interior is finished in a gallery mood, unifying the ceiling, walls, and floor in the same tone so that the displayed products stand out naturally, like works of art. The first floor applies the ‘Living Oasis’ concept unique to the flagship store, creating a premium customer space reminiscent of a hotel lounge. In the open lounge, surrounded by lush greenery and partitions, customers can relax freely and enjoy a welcome tea service. The way products are displayed has also evolved. Rather than simply lining products up, the store adopts gallery- and library-style display strategies that make it easy to compare each item. Key furniture pieces such as sofas, dining tables, and beds are arranged by design and function so that a variety of products can be compared at a glance, and customers can freely combine and simulate the materials, finishes, and lighting needed for remodeling to experience customized interior design. The display layout, which lets visitors experience the refinement and sensibility of premium residential culture, is also a highlight. Hanssem plans to showcase the largest display of the latest products in the Yeongnam region—including building materials, finishing materials, and fabrics such as DOMUS and Kitchen Bach. In the display space for DOMUS, a premium furniture distribution brand operated at the largest scale in the Busan area, visitors can compare Italian and German premium furniture brands such as CALIA, POTOCCO, himola, and KOINOR at a glance.

The display for ‘Kitchen Bach,’ Hanssem’s flagship premium kitchen brand, has also been significantly enhanced. Kitchen Bach is a top-tier kitchen series that concentrates Hanssem’s technological and design capabilities. At Flagship Busan Centum, visitors can explore the Kitchen Bach product lineup in a variety of colors and materials tailored to domestic premium kitchen trends, including newly introduced products such as ‘Smoked Oak’ and ‘Natural Oak.’
