Noroo Paint is drawing industry attention by unveiling a paint for which it has filed the industry's first patent related to preventing building aging.

Noroo Paint announced that its multifunctional paint for preventing building aging, 'Cupid Master,' has filed for a patent on a 'Waterborne Paint for Preventing Neutralization of Concrete Structures and a Method for Manufacturing the Same.' 'Cupid Master' prevents cracking on building surfaces and offers water-repellent properties against external rainwater as well as weather resistance that maintains the initial appearance of the coating for a long time. This is because it forms a dense coating film structure. Ordinary waterproof paints have low coating elasticity, making it difficult to prevent cracking and fissures. As they cannot block moisture from seeping inside, they have had limitations in preventing building aging.

In terms of physical properties, 'Cupid Master' possesses alkali resistance, wash resistance, water resistance, and weather resistance, and as a KS Grade 1 certified product, it can be used with confidence.

An official from Noroo Paint said, "As demand for exterior coating of apartments has surged over the past two years, we have conducted research to enhance functionality, and as a result, we have become the first in the domestic paint industry to launch a multifunctional product," adding, "We will continue to contribute to extending building lifespan by preventing the aging of concrete multi-complex buildings such as apartments, and we will strive to preserve the value of buildings." 031-467-6114
