Following 'SKYVIVA,' the company makes a fresh entry into the interior market with its functional board 'GREENVIVA AHSF'
Huvis has newly launched its functional interior board 'GREENVIVA AHSF,' which is drawing attention in the market.
The 'GREENVIVA AHSF' board is a functional interior board finished with a sublimation-transferred fabric design on one side of the existing 'GREENVIVA,' and it is a polyester sound-absorbing and insulating material. The newly launched 'GREENVIVA AHSF' board is distinguished by its proprietary digital design realized directly on polyester raw fabric. As a result, it retains the physical properties and excellent performance of polyester while offering the advantage of requiring no separate finishing material. Befitting a functional interior board, it delivers not only the existing outstanding sound absorption but also flame-retardant and thermal-insulation performance, making it applicable to a variety of spaces such as office spaces, churches, gymnasiums, and personal studios. The Huvis 'GREENVIVA AHSF' board uses carefully selected dyes to reproduce a wide range of colors, and custom-made designs can also be produced according to the consumer's wishes.
Until now, polyester interior-finish sound-absorbing boards have had problems with flame-retardant performance because all of the raw materials—fabric, adhesive, sound-absorbing board, and so on—were manufactured separately rather than in one place before being assembled into a finished product. The biggest problem pointed out was that responsibility in the event of a fire was unclear.
In fact, even if a fabric has obtained a flame-retardant certificate, the differing materials of the adhesive, fabric, and sound-absorbing material applied in the actual backing process cause the product to fall short of the Fire Agency's flame-retardancy standards, raising concerns in the event of a fire. For products currently on the market that attach fabric to a polyester sound-absorbing board, the flame-retardant certificate is in most cases a flame-retardancy certification for the fabric only.
To solve these problems, Huvis developed the 'GREENVIVA AHSF' board over a preparation period of about two years. The 'GREENVIVA AHSF' board retains the physical properties of polyester intact, yet is manufactured into a finished product by applying heat and compression without using any adhesive, and it has obtained a flame-retardant certificate. In actual combustion testing, it demonstrates excellent flame-retardant performance, exhibiting a self-extinguishing property in which the flame does not spread and the material melts away without flames. Another strength is that it produces almost no toxic gas.
In addition, because the 'GREENVIVA AHSF' board is created with a digital design, it overcomes the limitations in texture and design expression inherent to polyester material, enabling precise designs and a variety of colors. The 'GREENVIVA AHSF' board will initially be offered in four to five patterns, and the company plans to develop and introduce additional colors and designs to meet consumer demand going forward.
Meanwhile, Huvis is producing a catalog for the 'GREENVIVA AHSF' board as well as preparing a dedicated sample book for the AHSF board, and it plans to carry out a range of promotional activities. 02-2189-4953
