‘Neolith’ is a natural ceramic panel produced by Spain’s TheSize Surfaces. Since its launch in 2010, it has been an interior and exterior material that has created an innovative impact in the fields of architecture and interior design.

Neolith is made from 100% natural raw materials treated under high pressure at temperatures exceeding 1,200 degrees, giving it high strength, while its slim thicknesses of 3 mm and 6 mm allow it to be applied as a premium exterior material for high-rise buildings. In addition, Neolith applies NAP (Neolith Airless Pistol) technology to achieve a surface with a soft texture, and its full-body technology expresses the same color and design throughout the entire body. In particular, NDD (Neolith Digital Design) technology, which delivers high realism and rich detail, brings Neolith’s design possibilities to life. Furthermore, easy maintenance, waterproof performance, and a joint-free installation method prove that Neolith is more than attractive enough to be used as a finishing material.

In particular, Neolith offers a wide range of colors ranging from hyper-realistic natural patterns to special-effect patterns, matching any concept a designer wishes to express. Neolith has long held expertise in natural marble and possesses the technical capability to express a variety of feels—such as stone, iron, wood, and fabric—clearly and distinctly in its product design.

Guy International Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Bong-jae), a ceramics specialist that exclusively supplies Neolith products in Korea, carries out the entire process for interior and exterior use—including back-face strength reinforcement bonding and waterjet processing—at its own factory in Deokpyeong. Guy International stated, “Neolith has until now been supplied to Livart and premium kitchen furniture manufacturers to be introduced to consumers, and recently there has been a continuous stream of inquiries from many imported kitchen furniture companies and top-tier design firms,” adding, “We have secured inventory at our 20,000 ㎡ Deokpyeong factory and are preparing to meet demand for exteriors, interiors, furniture, and more.”

Since its founding in 1989, Guy International has amassed a track record of 650 ceramic exterior projects over the past 30 years, and 14 years ago it imported and installed the world’s first thin ceramic panel, ‘Laminam,’ in Korea, building unrivaled expertise to this day. The company is expanding its market by importing ceramic products befitting the labels ‘world’s first’ and ‘world’s best,’ as well as, more recently, a diverse range of ordinary tiles that it offers at reasonable prices through the distribution networks of nearby ceramics companies.

Meanwhile, TheSize Surfaces, established in 2009, is a natural ceramic panel manufacturer that recorded sales of more than 100 million euros (about 128.052 billion won) in 2017, supplying its products through distribution networks throughout Europe as well as North America, Asia, and the rest of the world. TheSize Surfaces has built factory facilities capable of producing 6 million ㎡ of natural ceramic panels annually, and recently expanded from a single production line to four, roughly doubling its production capacity. It is the only company equipped with five kilns dedicated solely to ceramic panels. In 2014, it launched ‘Granith,’ releasing a series of 12 natural granites in a variety of finishes. The products retain the atmosphere of natural materials while adding the advantages of ceramics, combining both design and functionality. The main specifications of the products manufactured by TheSize Surfaces include 3600×1200×3/6 mm, 3200×1500×6 mm, 3200×1600×12/20 mm, and 2600×1200×6 mm. The 3 mm products are used for interior finishes or exteriors, the 6 mm for interiors, flooring, or exterior materials, and the 12/20 mm products for kitchen and dining tabletops, among other applications. 02-514-4663
