The widest wide-format specification among the Baum brand product lineup
Dongwha Enterprise (CEO Kim Hong-jin) announced on the 15th that it is expanding its product lineup with the launch of ‘Baum 190’, a new product from its engineered hardwood flooring brand ‘Baum’.
‘Baum’ is a premium flooring made by laminating natural solid wood onto eco-friendly water-resistant plywood. The natural solid wood enhances stability to prevent warping or twisting of the flooring, while the surface is treated with a high-strength, eco-friendly coating that not only reduces scratches and dents from everyday use but also helps prevent the flooring from being deformed by everyday soiling.
Last year, Dongwha Enterprise drew industry attention by introducing its ‘Baum 165’ and ‘Baum 125’ products. ‘Baum 165’ is a wide-format flooring in broad, long dimensions that naturally expresses the texture of solid wood, featuring everything from soft-looking patterns to distinctive patterns incorporating knots. ‘Baum 125’ is an improved version of the existing engineered hardwood flooring product Baum Wide, adding new patterns and diversifying the wood species.
Newly launched in 2022, ‘Baum 190’ is the widest and longest product among the Baum brand lineup, allowing spaces to be styled in a broad and open manner. In addition, its surface, which preserves the natural wood texture as is, along with colors targeting consumer trends, adds a sophisticated atmosphere. ‘Baum 190’ comes in dimensions of 190 mm wide, 1,900 mm long, and 12 mm thick, and is offered in a total of five patterns.
