DeWalt, the premium power tool brand of Stanley Black & Decker Korea (CEO Hong Sung-wan), has launched three new 20V MAX cordless outdoor tool series, accelerating its push into the garden tool market.

This past August, the company introduced the ▲20V MAX Cordless Pole Pruner–Hedge Trimmer (DCMPH566N) and the ▲20V MAX Cordless Pole Chainsaw (DCMPS567N), and has now expanded its product lineup with the additional launch of the ▲20V MAX Cordless Pruner–Hedge Trimmer (DCMHT563N). In particular, since these new outdoor products were released ahead of Chuseok, one of Korea's biggest traditional holidays, they feature strong power and convenience to enable easy, effortless pruning and grave-mound trimming.

First, the '20V MAX Cordless Pole Pruner–Hedge Trimmer (DCMPH566N)' has an adjustable head that rotates 180 degrees and can be set to a total of 7 angles, allowing the operator to move freely to any desired position and angle. With a total blade length of 550 mm and a 25 mm gap between the blades, it minimizes material catching on the blades during work, while its dual-action blade reduces vibration for powerful cutting performance. Its ergonomic design, offering convenient operation and a stable grip, enhances not only work efficiency but also safety.

The '20V MAX Cordless Pole Chainsaw (DCMPS567N)' is equipped with a brushless motor for high energy efficiency and consistent power during operation. It also enhances working stability with a chain brake function that stops the saw blade within one second to protect the operator from kickback, as well as a metal bucking strip & cutting grip that securely holds the material in place for easy cutting. In addition, its tool-free chain tension system, which prevents over-tightening and allows the chain to be adjusted easily without any separate tools, improves durability as well. User convenience has also been strengthened. An oil tank with an automatic oiling function makes saw blade maintenance more convenient.

The '20V MAX Cordless Pruner–Hedge Trimmer (DCMHT563N)' delivers increased work efficiency, with a no-load running time of up to 75 minutes when fitted with a 5.0Ah battery. The gap between its blades is 25 mm, the same as the cordless pole pruner. It also offers a comfortable grip thanks to its light weight, and minimizes operator fatigue with a low-vibration dual-action blade and low operating noise of 98 decibels. In addition, it adopts a dual-switch system that operates only when the auxiliary handle is pulled while the trigger switch is pressed, preventing sudden-operation accidents, and its blade guard, which ensures a clear field of view, lowers the risk of accidents caused by cut materials.

Hong Sung-wan, CEO of Stanley Black & Decker Korea, said, "The global cordless tool market has recently been trending toward strengthening lineups of lightweight yet powerful products to improve mobility and convenience," adding, "We will continue to develop a diverse range of products so that operators can achieve high efficiency regardless of their working environment." 1577-0933
