Global lighting company LEDVANCE has launched the 'SMART+ Classic Wi-Fi,' an LED smart lamp that can wirelessly connect up to 60 units without a separate hub.
The new product is a perfect replacement for E26 socket-sized fluorescent lamps, and because there is no need to install an additional gateway or bridge for wireless connectivity, it is both economical and convenient. The 'SMART+ Classic Wi-Fi' operates on Wi-Fi, one of the most widely used wireless communication standards in Korea. A distinctive feature is that, by applying LEDVANCE technology that extends Wi-Fi's communication range, up to 60 lamps can be connected through a single Wi-Fi wireless router.
The new product works with both Android and Apple smart devices, and through the dedicated app (LEDVANCE APM SMART+ Wi-Fi), users can control each light individually, turn lights on and off, and adjust color and brightness. It reproduces 16 million RGB colors and offers a color temperature range of 2,000 to 6,500K. In addition, by adding users within the app, the same lighting can be controlled from multiple smart devices. Through scheduling, the lighting can be used like an alarm clock, and various lighting scenes can be set up through the app. Four scenes—Rest, Reading, Wake-up, and Leisure—are provided by default, and users can also add scenes optimized for their own spaces.
Beyond this, the 'SMART+ Classic Wi-Fi' also supports voice command functionality. It can be linked with AI speakers including Google Assistant, Apple Siri, and Amazon Alexa, and key functions can be controlled through each manufacturer's app. Its power consumption is 9W, using more than 50% less energy than a fluorescent lamp, with a lifespan of approximately 20,000 hours. 02-3420-3700
