CESCO has launched the ‘Sterilize-ON Water Purifier, 5-Way Peace of Mind,’ which applies five layers of sterilization and care: cock care, cock sterilization, waterway emptying, waterway sterilization, and cock replacement.
As its name suggests, CESCO’s ‘Sterilize-ON 5-Way Peace of Mind Water Purifier’ is characterized by enhanced sterilization and care. The cock is sterilized with ultraviolet light every time water is dispensed, and even when water is not being dispensed, the cock is sterilized once every hour. The waterway through which water flows is automatically emptied every 3 hours and is fully sterilized with electrolyzed sterilizing water every 3 days. The externally exposed cock is replaced with a new one every year. On top of this five-way management, the new product removes everything from microplastics in the water to residual chlorine, heavy metals, and organic compounds through a five-stage composite nano-filter system that even filters out microplastics. CESCO’s ‘Sterilize-ON 5-Way Peace of Mind Water Purifier’ filters out particles of 20㎛ (micrometers; one-millionth of a meter) or larger, the standard used for microplastic testing of bottled water and beverages. In addition, CESCO double-verified the microplastic removal capability of the ‘Sterilize-ON 5-Way Peace of Mind Water Purifier’ at both the KOTITI Testing & Research Institute, a nationally accredited testing and inspection research institution, and CESCO’s Foreign Material Analysis Center. The CESCO Foreign Material Analysis Center is a specialized research institution equipped with the largest infrastructure in the country in the field of microplastics, and last year it received a commendation from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for its contributions to establishing methods for analyzing microplastics in food.
User convenience was also given the utmost consideration. The hot water temperature can be adjusted across three levels—40, 70, and 85℃—and the amount dispensed at once can be adjusted to suit the situation across four levels: 120, 250, 550, and 1,000㎖. Moreover, its clean and elegant design and compact size (17×39㎝) help complete a more sophisticated kitchen interior. In addition, the new product comes with ‘Plus Alpha Care,’ a space hygiene management service that concentrates CESCO’s know-how, through which experts trained in water quality and water purifiers manage the interior and exterior sterilization and inspection of the purifier, pest monitoring of the surrounding space, drain hygiene, and even kitchen sterilization.
