Aqara Life has launched the ‘T1S’ smart blind controller.
If you have found it inconvenient to open and close blinds by pulling a cord every time, yet have been reluctant to switch to a motorized system because of the noise, the newly launched ‘T1S’ smart blind from Aqara Life could be a great option. The biggest feature of the newly released ‘T1S’ is the quiet operating sound of its controller motor. With an operating noise of 27dB—lower than the 40dB noise level of a library—it can be used without worry even in homes with babies. Existing Aqara blind controllers were equipped with a powerful motor capable of withstanding a load of 30 kg, which generated somewhat loud noise. This new product is a model dedicated to roller blinds, suitable for home use, and produces noise at just 38% of the previous level. It is therefore well suited to spaces that require quiet or to users who are sensitive to noise. In addition, the ‘T1S’ smart blind controller offers a variety of control methods. Using the timer function, you can open the blinds at your wake-up time and automatically close them after sunset. Voice control is also possible through Apple’s Siri or Google’s Hey Google. Using the smartphone app, you can open and close the blinds not only at home but also while you are away. Beyond this, by combining lighting and blinds, it supports settings such as Sleep Mode and Cinema Mode, allowing users to choose a method that fits their lifestyle.

Meanwhile, the ‘T1S’ smart blind controller went on sale at Aqara Life’s official business mall starting October 7, and it will be introduced to general customers on the official mall within the year as a package that includes blind fabric. 02-6949-2662
