Cosentino Group is a Spain-based global company that produces and distributes innovative surface materials for the world's leading design and architecture industries. Working in partnership with consumers and partners, Cosentino Group proposes designs and value and delivers solutions that inspire the lives of many people. Its flagship brands that bring this to life include △DEKTON △Silestone △Sensa and △Scalea.

DEKTON is an ultra-compact surface material offering high strength and resistance, durability, and a diversity of design and texture. Since mass production began in 2013, its sales have been rising sharply in Europe and the United States. DEKTON's greatest strength is its ability to faithfully reproduce the beauty of natural stone that has been shaped over long periods of time. DEKTON employs Sintered Particle Technology (TSP), which accelerates the metamorphic changes that occur when natural stone is exposed to high pressure and high temperature over thousands of years, making it possible to realize nature's beauty in just a few hours. In particular, its sintering technology and ultra-compaction process eliminate pores, giving it high strength and durability while preventing the micro-defects that cause tension and weakening. In 2018, the new 'X-Gloss Stonika' series collection was launched, offering a total of six colors that create designs even closer to nature.

DEKTON's standard dimensions are 3200×1440㎜, and it can be applied to all surface finishes, including indoor and outdoor floors, walls, and countertops. The product line comprises more than 40 diverse colors and patterns and boasts excellent resistance to scratching and heat. In addition, depending on the product line, it has an absorption rate of 0 to 0.05%, allowing it to be used as a finishing material for swimming pool floors and walls. Its high-density kitchen countertops can hold hot pots and cookware straight off the stove and can also be used in place of a cutting board. Even pigmented dough and similar preparations can be worked on it.

Silestone is the world's best-selling natural quartz surface material, made using more than 93% quartz with a hardness of 7 to 7.5. Cosentino began mass-producing Silestone in 1990 and has since made substantial investments in product development and technology. In particular, Silestone incorporates a new technology called N-BOOST to further improve the stain resistance of quartz and engineered stone. Conventional quartz and engineered stone can become stained after prolonged exposure or require cleaning with detergents, but some Silestone product lines featuring N-BOOST increase the density of the surface and the product itself so much that they can be washed off with water alone even after prolonged exposure, thereby improving stain resistance. The product's standard dimensions are 3250×1590㎜, and it is available in more than 60 diverse designs and colors. It can be used not only on kitchen and bathroom walls but also on floors.

Sensa is a product made from Cosentino's granite, providing the essential characteristics needed to keep surfaces in perfect condition. The product is treated to prevent liquids from penetrating the granite by altering the granite's surface tension. It can be easily cleaned with nothing more than soap and a cloth dampened with warm water, and its quality is guaranteed for 15 years.

Scalea is the brand that encompasses all of Cosentino Group's natural stone products. The products can generally withstand high temperatures, making them suitable for kitchen countertops, and the beauty of nature creates a sustainable beauty. They are easy to maintain since they can be cleaned with water alone, but care should be taken with cooking utensils that may cause scratches and with the use of detergents.

Meanwhile, Cosentino's innovative finishing materials are supplied in Korea by AAM Company, which sells and distributes highly durable, high-quality architectural finishing materials from leading overseas manufacturers within the domestic market. AAM Company is targeting the related markets where such materials can be applied as key features, such as kitchen countertops, bathrooms, and accent walls, and it also plans to pursue sales in the building exterior wall and flooring sectors. 02-2054-8222
