Jayeon Group (CEO Kang Han-gu) has teamed up with Woodex (CEO Lee Jae-woong), a company specializing in the distribution of building materials, to unveil its new ‘Fiber Wood 2nd Generation’ products.
‘Fiber Wood’ is a new-concept wood that Jayeon Group launched for the first time in Korea. It is an interior and exterior finishing material that combines ‘carbon fiber’—which has been applied in specialized, cutting-edge fields such as aerospace, automobiles and ships—with wood fiber and other special materials. As is well known, ‘carbon fiber’ offers excellent heat and impact resistance along with outstanding elasticity and strength, making it a widely acclaimed material used in specialized areas across a variety of industries.
‘Fiber Wood’ began to gain recognition in Korea starting with interior and exterior finishing materials, followed by the launch of ‘Fiber Deck’ and ‘Carbon Fiber Deck’. These products are premium, high-performance materials that combine durability with no deformation or discoloration in any environment—indoors or outdoors—as well as light weight and cost efficiency, perfectly overcoming the drawbacks of conventional wood. In particular, ‘Carbon Fiber Deck’ improves upon and perfectly compensates for the shortcomings of both natural and composite wood, ensuring stability against climate change, temperature and all other factors.
The ‘Fiber Wood 2nd Generation’ products are characterized by a further enhanced natural wood texture compared to previous products, along with added functionality such as flame retardancy and UV protection. The new lineup introduces New Woody, Bliss and Awning, as well as Urban Gray, a new color for the Carbon Deck. △New Woody is a product optimized for commercial spaces such as cafés and restaurants, preserving the advantages of wood while compensating for its disadvantages. Its design allows you to feel the texture of wood just as it is. △Bliss is a three-dimensional panel that maximizes the sense of volume with its 35T-thick design and the texture of wood.
