Litten, the rug brand of apartment interior company Apartmentary, announced that it has established itself as a home fabric brand, growing roughly fivefold in the four years since its launch.

Litten is an in-house venture of Apartmentary that began with the idea of "objets that fill a space," and it is a living brand specializing in premium rugs. The rug brand Litten has differentiated its quality by using Belgian looms, and it is being widely chosen by consumers on the strength of its safe materials and distinctive design. An Apartmentary official said, "Litten has changed consumers who once regarded rugs as low-cost foot mats, growing the rug into an interior essential." Apartmentary holds its own private brands for items such as towels and bedding that can be used to decorate a new space after an interior renovation, just like Litten. A total of eight living brands, including Litten and The Gran, have achieved individualized branding through independent operation and are growing alongside interior design, Apartmentary's core business.

Kim Min-ji, PO in charge of the Litten brand, said, "On the back of its popularity through social media, Litten is also receiving a strong response overseas. It is currently being sold in Singapore and Japan, and sales requests are increasing in major countries such as the United States as well," adding, "Considering the domestic rug market, Litten's growth potential is even more anticipated going forward. This year, it recorded roughly 20-fold growth in production scale compared to its launch year." 02-6356-1224
