Dedicated Bodaq website opens alongside the new product launch
Hyundai L&C is launching new ‘Bodaq’ interior film products with upgraded functionality and design, while also opening a ‘dedicated Bodaq website’ where the entire Bodaq lineup can be viewed online, thereby fully rolling out its online and offline marketing activities.
Hyundai L&C’s ‘Bodaq’ interior film is a surface finishing material with a special adhesive applied to the back, allowing it to be attached to virtually any indoor space—walls, moldings, doors, furniture, and more—using a simple method without any professional tools. In particular, the ‘Bodaq’ interior film is an interior product perfectly suited for partially reforming unsightly surfaces or transforming the atmosphere of a home into a new style. Its advantages are that it is thicker than the ordinary interior sheeting available on the market and offers excellent durability after application. While it is not a DIY product, it is easy to remove during initial installation, making direct installation possible for handy consumers.
Hyundai L&C’s ‘Bodaq’ has been carefully developed to improve its eco-friendliness: it applies a water-based adhesive on the bonding surface to minimize the emission of volatile organic compounds that cause sick house syndrome, and it uses scallop shells—a natural substance harmless to the human body—to inhibit harmful bacteria that can proliferate on the film surface. As a result, it became the first in the industry to obtain all of the Korea Atopy Association’s Atopy ‘Safety Certification,’ the Ministry of Environment’s ‘Indoor Mark,’ and the highest grade of the ‘HB Mark,’ an eco-friendly building material certification.
The newly launched ‘Bodaq’ products include items with functionality upgraded through proprietary processing techniques, such as the ‘anti-fingerprint’ series, which uses special surface processing to keep the surface clean by resisting various everyday stains and scratches as well as leaving no fingerprints, and ‘Real Cork,’ which thinly films eco-friendly natural cork to help create a nature-friendly space.
In addition, the ‘Premium Painted Concrete’ series, which conveys realistic texture and soft shading, and the ‘Hologram UMI’ film, an emotive material that blurs the boundary between the digital and the everyday, were newly launched. The company also strengthened the design lineup of its existing premium product families by category, such as ‘Stone & Marble,’ ‘Metal,’ and ‘Wood,’ reflecting the trend toward premiumization in the wall finishing material market.
A Hyundai L&C official said, “Bodaq is a product leading the domestic interior film market, and it is continuously evolving into a high-functionality, eco-friendly material through interior trend analysis and materials research,” adding, “Going forward, we will strengthen nature-friendly functions across all of the company’s products—including Bodaq, recycled PET decorative sheets, and flooring—to solidify our position as an eco-friendly building materials company.”
Alongside this ‘Bodaq’ new product launch, Hyundai L&C opened a dedicated website for consumers (www.ebodaq.com). On the dedicated website, users can view all of ‘Bodaq’s’ colors in an online space and compare patterns, colors, special features, and more through option-based searches. Furthermore, through new digital menus such as an experience simulation and a 3D styling simulation, consumers can directly apply ‘Bodaq’ products to a 3D space and try styling them themselves.
Meanwhile, Hyundai L&C has recently introduced its ‘Restyle Door Package,’ which remodels a door and its frame together, on major online malls including its official online mall, earning a favorable response from consumers. The ‘Restyle Door Package’ is characterized by installing the door frame together when replacing a door, and customers can choose from a variety of options according to their taste, including door designs (10 types), colors (16 types), and handles (8 types). 080-729-8272
