Hyundai L&C has launched 'Myeongga Original' and 'Chamdaum,' eco-friendly LUXE flooring products with a renewed pattern lineup.
Both products reflect the 'sustainable naturalism' trend, and are distinguished by a strengthened lineup of wood- and stone-series patterns. 'Myeongga Original' is a LUXE flooring product that applies a differentiated three-dimensional registered emboss to realistically express the texture of natural materials, and it is free from the risk of harmful substances such as phthalate-based plasticizers and heavy metals. In addition, its emissions of formaldehyde—a cause of sick house syndrome—and of volatile organic compounds harmful to the human body meet the certification standards of the Ministry of Environment's Eco-Label, and with its excellent antibacterial and anti-mold performance, it is an eco-friendly product free from allergy concerns. Newly composed in 2021, the pattern lineup of 'Myeongga Original' features wood-series patterns including ▲Vintage Oak with an antique feel, ▲Time Oak, which brings out a vintage sensibility with a calm feel, and ▲Prague Oak, which offers a cozy sense of space with a mid-tone brown color. It also presents stone-series patterns including ▲Origin Stone, which captures the luxury of stone, ▲Dolce Stone in soft, bright colors, and ▲Teddy Stone with a simple, modern style, for a total of 16 varieties. The wood patterns are perfect for consumers who want a cozy, warm vintage interior, while the stone patterns are ideal for consumers who want an interior with a spacious feel.
'Chamdaum' is a flooring product that has earned the Ministry of Environment's Eco-Label certification and the Korea Atopy Association's Atopy Safe Mark, and it is characterized by minimized repetition of unit patterns, allowing for an even more spacious feel. In particular, its special surface coating makes it easy to clean everyday soiling, and it offers outstanding everyday durability against scratches and dents. Newly renewed in 2021, 'Chamdaum' comprises a lineup of 14 patterns in total. Added to the lineup are marble patterns such as ▲Clean Gray Marble, which adds a rectangular layout and weighty color to the existing patterns, and ▲Iris Marble, which creates a modern atmosphere with a design reminiscent of white natural marble, as well as ▲Soft Fabric with a soft, solid fabric pattern and ▲Greece Oak, which highlights a delicate wood grain.
